The Langworthy Medical Practice was established in 1983 from the association of several long established Salford doctors. We are situated in an architect-converted church on the corner of Langworthy Road and Seedley Road. There is a large secure car park behind the surgery on Coomassie Street and there is wheelchair and push-chair access to all the clinical areas of the centre. We are about 3 minutes walk from Salford precinct and easily accessible by public transport from Higher Kersal to the Quays.

In 1986, the practice was appointed by the University of Salford to offer health care to staff and students and we have been associated with the university since, maintaining a branch surgery in the central university campus.

The practice is a training centre for undergraduate medical students from Manchester University. We also train qualified doctors who are learning the skills of general practice. Although these doctors are supervised, they run their own surgeries and you can book to see them as with any other doctor.
